Introduction to Computing Robotic-Assisted Heller Myotomy

Question: Describe about the Introduction to Computing for Robotic-Assisted Heller Myotomy? Answer: Introduction In the modern world, contemporary computing occupies a large space that includes several modern technologies for achieving large targets using innovative process. This concept of modern computing came into visible in 9th centuries. Modern and developed technologies are investing year after year using innovative technologies of computing over the base computing process (Afaneh et al., 2015). Modern assemblages of computing are developed using a top and latest technologies with sophisticated tools that involve a high-speed performance of CPU, database networking, and data transaction. Computing technologies with smarter and faster specifications made the personal and corporate life easier. The individual life of the people in case of technological and social networking became faster and easier with the help of contemporary computing present in several electronic devices. The impacts of computing in the science and modern technologies give several clear ideas about new innovative progre ssion in the life of the individuals and organizations for future development (Bogue, 2013). Actor Network theory Michel Callon and Bruno Latour are the inventors of the Actor Network Theory (ANT) and develop it during their work. According to the descriptions given by them, Actor Network Theory (ANT) can be described as a network in which the interaction and communication can be done by both human and non-human actors. These both human and non-human actors in the network are known as actants. The base of this theory established on the study of science and technologies and also their impacts on the network of the human and non-human actants (Volarik, 2013). Human actors developed a strong relation with the electronic devices such as mobile, computer, tablet and other devices in case of developing new and modern technologies in case of advancing to old technologies (Campuzano and Luis Poy, 2013). ANT theory provides the basic ideas regarding the usage of electronic devices in the life of the human to make it easier. The whole network is analyzed using the theory of ANT which provides the idea of the both social and technological view regarding the provided network. In the study of science, a large space occupies by the theory of ANT. Modern technologies of computing can also be described using Actor Network Theory (ANT), provides the relation between the actants and the society in which they act. The passages through which the relation between the actants is continued are known as the token. Also, there are several arguments regarding the interactions between human and non-human actants that can explain using the Actor Network Theory (ANT). Usefulness of studying Actor Network Theory (ANT) Studying Actor Network Theory (ANT) is useful as it provides several characteristics that include social and technological activities. In the discussion of contemporary assemblage, Actor Network Theory (ANT) provides the interactions among both human and non-human actants. Regarding finding different aspects of the modern computing technologies, ANT helps to determine several positive and negative impacts of modern assemblage. The knowledge required to understand the theory of ANT should be related to social science and networking in the field of a computer with advanced technologies (Ceurstemont, 2010). As ANT theory provides the interaction between the actants in the network hence, the idea of the network is essential in the discussion of ANT. The social network is the main passage through which people interact with the electronic devices that are required to understand the interaction held in the network of ANT. The discussion that is done using the Actor Network Theory (ANT) main ly based on the survey and the case studies and in case of evaluating this, the knowledge of network technology is required. Social and modern technologies provide the knowledge about the assemblage of the computing in case of discussing the stories that are related to the different level of technologies and social facts (Volarik, 2013). Story1: Oracle cloud: the next generation public cloud Public cloud is adapted in about 88percent of organization in the world. Most of the analysts represent the public cloud as the hyper-innovation phase. The public cloud provides several benefits to the organizations with respect to the customer experience, agility, and cost. Also the way on which organization compete are provided by the public cloud of the organization. Many organizations are using the first-generation cloud in their service (SUSMAN, 2010). This is because they are habituated to it. But it is the time to use the modern cloud which includes the multi-cloud universe through which the applications and the data can be transferred with high speed in-between the private, public and hybrid cloud that can also be accessed by the devices that are used by the employees and customers (Chang, 2012). Oracle cloud can represent as the next generation cloud. The facilities that includes in the Oracle cloud are such as flexible infrastructure with an integrated environment, comprehe nsive business application portfolio and a platform with a powerful standard. The offers that are given by the oracle cloud and unique and are not provided by any other cloud. Oracle Cloud also provides several services such as Software as a service (SaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Also, several benefits provided by the Oracle cloud to the organization are such managing database, integrate the business, best security and cost efficiency. The needs of the new IT professionals of the organizations are to develop an integrated infrastructure that can deploy and also can update the software according to their requirements. The developer of the Oracle Cloud tried to provide all the required solutions to the organization in case of implement all the important requirement in the service of the modern cloud. Oracle Cloud also provides assurance about the security of the data of the enterprise (Furuichi and Yamada, 2014). Actants: In the Oracle cloud system, there is role of several actants such as human and non-human entities. In the category of the human actants, it includes the developer of Oracle cloud, manager of organizations, customers, and employees. The non-human actants present in this story are such as database management, cost efficiency, and the security system. This story can be discussed by using the Actor Network Theory (ANT). According to the theory, a cloud can be said as the network that is the interaction passage between the human and non-human actants of this story (Muhic and Johansson, 2014). The cloud system can also be scale as software actants which helps the human actants to connect with the non-human actants of the story. Story2: Toyota robot can pick up after people and help the sick The new robot of Toyota called HSR (human support robot) is developed in case of doing a single task i.e. picking the things up. The mechanism that is available to HSR s that it has only one arm using that it can pick objects of different size and shape. Also, it can pick up the tiny items by using the tiny suction cup. A computer panel is available on the head of the robot through which the internet surfing is done. The robot can also be accessed from another computer and can use it as a camera. Kouichi Ikeda, engineer of the Toyota robot, designed it in case of helping the people in their homes. His aim is to help the disable people first and then to the elder people. The people who have problems in their spinal cord and also the other people who cannot bend down can get help from this robot. Robots are the modern technologies that are developed to help the human being in their work and also help them to live their life easier (Noam, 2014). The modern computing technologies are use d in the development of HSR to make it more useful to the people. The robot can controls by using a tablet or a remote of the TV. Also, the grips and bumps are designed so soft so that it cannot harm anybody. The most drawback of this technology is the price. To reduce the cost of the robot there required a mass production. It is declared that the current price is given by Toyota. Actants: The Actor-Network Theory (ANT) is used to study the story of the Toyota robot i.e. HSR. In this story, the human actants can be described as the designer of the robot i.e. Ikeda and the general people. There are several non-human actants such as Toyota robot HSR, programming of HSR, and the tools used to develop the robot. This can be said as the digital actants as the robot can be handled y the people digitally using a remote system (Paka, 2013). ANT theory also gives the description how the human actants can get help by using the Toyota's robot in their normal life. Conclusion Contemporary computing in the modern world improves the lifestyle of our living by including several modern technologies and also by innovate the old technologies using the advancement. The above discussed stories are explained on the basis of the Actor Network Theory (ANT) which has several human and non-human actants that are connected with each other in a network. Social and networking technologies act on the contemporary computing to provide several assemblages to the human and nonhuman actants of the ANT theory. Also, it is suitable to use the ANT theory in the case of explaining the stories of the Oracle cloud and the robot. References List Afaneh, C., Finnerty, B., Abelson, J. and Zarnegar, R., 2015.
